An unscheduled stop

The bus has broken down north of Richmond. This Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) landed on one of the passengers as she stood outside. It seems unable to fly.


Update:
Apparently, the caterpillars of this butterfly mimic bird droppings!
